Incomplete Roman copper alloy brooch, Mackreth (2011) Type CD H (Colchester Derivative Hinged) 11. Circular-sectioned enclosed wings with broad vertical grooved moulding at both ends, contains corroded iron axis bar, with slot, pin missing. D-sectioned bow with worn and corroded knop on upper part. Lower part missing. Extant length 20mm. Width of wings 22mm. c. AD 55-80.
