A Neolithic flint lithic implement dating to the period c. 4000-2100 BC. This is a secondary flake as it retains <20% cortex on its total surface area. The dorsal face has negative flake scars from previous flake removal, and a number of mis-strikes at the proximal end next to the striking platform. It is therefore possible that this is a core rejuvination flake. There is also a small amount of retouch at the distal end, probably to make the flake into a borer or piercer. The ventral face has a bulb of percussion at the proximal end and conchoidal ripples radiating towards the distal end. The flint is dark grey in colour with cream coloured inclusions and a white-blue patina in places.
It measures 65.7mm in length, 44.9mm in width, 13.6mm in thickness and weighs 41.09g.
