An incomplete iron horseshoe of probable medieval date (c. 1250 - 1500). The horseshoe exhibits similarities to Clark's "Transitional" or "Later medieval" types It exhibits a broad web and a broad margin between the outer edge of the shoe and the nail holes, as well as a calkin at one terminus. There are eight reactangular nail holes visible, four on each branch.
