Copper alloy mount. Cast circular mount in a form resembling a Tudor rose with a flower of two superimposed orders with short leaves equidistantly spaced about its edge, and with a [now] oval fixing hole of length 4mm at its centre. The object is bent as if wrenched with some force from that fixing. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1650.
