Silver coin. Halfgroat of Henry VII (1485-1509), clipped. Canterbury mint, probably issue of 1498-1499.

Obverse description: Facing bare shouldered bust with double arched crown within open [for crown] tressure of six arches, a pellet left of neck and a saltire to right. Mintmark possibly tun (123).

Obverse inscription: HENRIC'Di[---]GL Z

Reverse description: Long cross, three pellets in each angle, inscription in two orders.

Reverse inscription: [outer] POSVI/DEV A/DIVTO/R'MEV [inner] CIVI/TAS/CAN/TOR

Diameter: 19.1mm, Weight: 1.29gms, die axis: probably 10
