Incomplete and corroded Roman copper alloy wing-and-fanbow brooch with rear hook. Undecorated wings. Iron-staining in the centre on the reverse where the spring is missing. The broken fanbow is decorated with two longitudinal grooves flanking a deep central groove. Extant length 18mm. Wingspan 18mm. Cf. Hattatt no.300. c.40 - c.55.
