Post-medieval copper alloy hooked sword belt mount with two rivet holes containing remains of iron rivets and a ring engaged with a hook. An early 17th-century type (Scott, I. in Biddle et al. 2001, 205, fig. 5.6. no. 159). As Margeson 1993, nos. 257-8 and de Reuck 1991, 41, right-hand row, seventh and eight from top. Mount 30.6 x 12mm. Ring internal diameter 8mm, external diameter 11mm. c.1600 - c.1650.
