Slightly squashed medieval copper alloy domed thimble, double-skinned, i.e. reinforced with an inner lining. Much of the outer part is missing, on the surviving side there is a band of horizontal lines of small punched dots, a narrow plain band and then further concentric lines of dots on the surviving scrap of the dome. Height 24mm. Diameter c.21mm. 14th century.
