Copper alloy buckle. Cast asymmetrical buckle frame with a larger oval outer loop nicked at the pin rest and with a pair of internal prongs projecting at its inner edger, and with a smaller rectangular strap loop, here retaining rust suggesting the object was deposited with an iron pin (now lost) attached. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1350-1450.
