Medieval gilt copper alloy enamel-inlaid shield-shaped harness mount, with an integral round sectioned rivet on the reverse. In rather abraded condition with most of the inlay and gilding lost. Blazon: Or a lion rampant Gules Probably for Felbrigg of Felbrigg, Norfolk, cf. Ashley 2002, nos. 146 and 161. Height 14.2mm. Width 13mm. Length 5.3mm (of which rivet 3.8mm). 13th - 14th century.
