A complete lead medieval to post-medieval groat sized Boy Bishop token. Probably of Rigold's (1978, 94) Bury Series VI or IX, dating to the period c.AD 1470-1539 AD. Small hole through the centre - probably the result of accidental damage.
Obverse: Legend of single strokes - head in conical mitre, crozier to right
Reverse: NI/COL/AE/[V]S (reversed N)/ no outer legend - Long cross with three pellets in each quarter and single ring of pellets around the outside
