An incomplete Medieval copper alloy buckle, dating AD 1250-1400. This is a single loop buckle, with a D-shaped frame. The straight edge is narrower than the rest of the frame, the pin is no longer present. There are two rounded projections at either end of the narrow bar. There are two knops on the frame, opposite the bar, forming a constricted section between them which forms a pin rest. The object has a mid-light green patina.

Similar examples can be found on the PAS database, cf. SWYOR-544E97and published in Whitehead (2003, 23) which date AD 1250-1400.
