A chert multi-platform core of Neolithic date (c. 4000 - 2350 BC). The core retains c. 40% cortex. It exhibits three striking platforms with negative flake scars struck from a number of different angles. The chert is dark grey in colour with frequent lighter colour coarse-grained inclusions.
The core measures 83.92mm in length, 57.64mm in width, is 38.66mm thick and weighs 204.02g.
