A ceramic rim sherd from a Roman grog-tempered vessel dating to the period c. AD 43 - 410. The vessel has a flattened rim. The fabric is hard and is varied in colour ranging from orange to mid grey.. It exhibits frequent poorly sorted angular inclusions of orange, grey and buff coloured grog.
The sherd is 51mm in height, 69.75mm wide and weighs 49.45 grams.
