An incomplete copper alloy object, probably handle of Modern date (AD 1800-1950). The object has a birfurcated aspect, a possible terminal, from which the shaft the extends with a curving circular cross sectioned bar with has a spiralled groove running round it's lengh giving a twisted cord effect. The object has a seam running longitudinally along its outer edge. The object has an iron bar at its core with a decorative copper alloy "sleeve" around.
The metal of the outer portion is green with a smooth patina. The inner portion is brown with some corrosion.
