A worn copper alloy post-medieval 'rose farthing' of Charles I. Probably Type 2, however the coin is too worn to discern any initial marks. AD 1636-1644 AD; probably North 2291. This coin has a brass wedge-shaped insert at around 12 o'clock put there to prevent counterfeiting.
