A Medieval to Post Medieval lead cloth seal, probably dating AD 1200-1800. The object is formed of two discs and a connecting strip. . At the centre of the seal are the Roman numerals I on the first line and II on the second , possibly indicating how long the cloth was in yards. On the reverse are the unclear letters R W surrounded by a now illegible legend. It is similar in design to SF-867732 on the database.
The object is 18.1mm in diameter, 2.7mm thick and weighs 5.03 grams.
