Copper Alloy double loop buckle, dating AD 1350-1650. It is formed of two ovals with the central bar being where the two join. The pin is still present and is formed of a strip of copper alloy, which is looped at one end around the central axial bar and tapers to a point at the other. It has a dark brown colouration with spots of a light green patina. It has no decoration.
There are many examples on the database of double loop buckles and a similar example in Whitehead (2003, 54, no.310).
It is 22mm in length.
