An incomplete early Roman copper-alloy Dolphin or Colchester brooch. Only a fragment of the lower part of the bow survives. The bow is plano-convex in section and tapers to the foot. The bow is decorated with a notched rib running down the centre. A catchplate survives on the reverse.
