Roman Nene Valley Colour Coated Ware sherd (AD155-425). Oxidised hard fine fabric with a smooth fracture, pale yellow orange with abundant fine sand inclusions and occasional black flecks. Slip is a dark brown-black, worn but present on both interior and exterior. This is possibly a body sherd with a raised ridge moulding, similar to examples on Potsherd. The sherd is 23.61mm in length, 17.15mm wide, 3.16mm thick and weighs 1.43g
