A complete lead shot ball of Post-Medieval date (AD 1640-1750). The object has a circumferentially running casting seam and a filed down, sub-circular, casting spru. The object is slightly miss-cast with the two halves not fully in Alignment. The weight of the shot suggests that it was meant to be fired from a pistol.
The metal is light cream in colour with a smooth patina.
Diameter: 11.67mm, Weight: 8.1g.
