An incomplete copper alloy toy miniature cannon of post medieval date (AD 1700-1800). The toy is comprised of a circular barrel, or cascable, which tapers in diameter from the cascable to the muzzle. The cascable end is fluted with a raised rim from which a rounded neck extends terminating in a projecting knop at the end. The neck has two circumferential incised rings. Two trunnions, or basal lugs, for attachment to a block or stock project midway along the barrel, one of which is broken. A double banded incised collar is present between the trunnions and the cascable end. From here the muzzle end extends terminating in a flared opening. The muzzle is preceded by a raised band and incised collar.
