A piece of flint debitage of Mesolithic to Neolithic date (c. 6000-3500 BC). This is a tertiary flake as it does not retain any cortex. The dorsal face has five negative flake scars from previous flake removal. The ventral face has a bulb of percussion with bulbar scar and striking platform at the proximal end, and there are conchoidal ripples radiating towards the distal end. The flake is dark brown in colour with an area of white at its distal edge. The flake measures 20.06mm in length, 20.50mm in width, 2.08mm in thickness and weighs 1.88g.
