A complete cast copper-alloy strap slide from the medieval period (c.13th-14th century). The object is formed of a trapezoidal loop with an integral rivet central on the inner edge. In cross-section the frame is rectangular; the rivet is sub-circular. The object has a dark-green patina with some soil impaction.
