A group of 6 Post-Medieval lead shot balls, dating to the period AD 1640-1750. Traces of a circumferential casting seam remain on 2 of them, and the casting sprue remains on another. One has a flat area, and another has a deep groove- indications they may have been fired. All of the shot has a smooth texture, aside from one which is pitted. The shots range from cream to grey-brown in colour.
The minimum diameter is 6.76mm and the maximum diameter is 18.49mm. The shot with the casting sprue measures 26.32mm including the sprue. The collective weight of this group is 124g
