A cast copper-alloy folding strap clasp of Medieval date. It has a rectangular frame with offset and narrowed bar. At the outer edge is a separately cast cylindrical bar with flat, rectangular folding clasp. Hinging around the bar is a separately cast attachment plate that is rectangular in form with rectangular frame recesses and a single circular rivet hole at the centre of the attachment end. It measures 6.79mm in width (bent), 28.46mm in length, 4.88mm in thickness, and 3.10g in weight. This is a folding strap clasp of Medieval date, c.14th century AD (cf Egan and Pritchard, 1991: no. 566).
