A complete flint worked flake of Mesolithic date (9000-3450 BC). The lithic is sub-ovate in plan and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface retains a large amount of cortex. The distal and left hand edge have a minor amount of rough semi-abrupt retouch. The flake retains a large amount of cortex and is therefore a primary flake.
The flint is light brown in colour with cream inclusions throughout. The cortex is mid-brown in colour.
