TREASURE CASE : 2003 T408.
A medieval, silver-gilt circular brooch decorated with four equally spaced lozenges soldered to the frame of the brooch. Each lozenge bears a rudimentary cross. There is a break in the frame close to one lozenge and the pin is missing.
In terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
