Flint of uncertain tint, entirely covered by dense creamy patina, backed blade. Triangular section flake with a cutting edge bearing short abrupt retouch, presumably executed from the dorsal aspect, and with further large concavities arising from subsequent fortuitous impacts; both ends truncated, possibly deliberately. The extent of damage and patina may argue the long exposure of this object after its deposition. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000-4000 BC.
