A flint probable Burin of probable Neolithic date, about 4000 BC - 2200 BC. The burin is formed on a flake of orange flint which is partially patinated to white. It is sub-rectangular with an oblique distal end, and is sub-triangular in section. It has short, semi-abrupt, sub-parallel retouch on the distal end and a small area of short, low-angle, sub-parallel retouch on the left side from the ventral face. The burin is formed on the distal left corner with a removal from the ventral face, from the corner along the distal end. It is 28.8mm long, 13.5mm wide and 6.5mm thick. 2.15g.
