A flint scraper of unknown date, probably Neolithic or Bronze Age, dating from 4000 BC - 1000 BC. The scraper is formed on a large flake of mottled brown flint which is opaque but not patinated except for a few speckles. A small area of cortex survives at the distal end of the dorsal face. The flake is oval in plan and sub-rectangular in cross-section. The dorsal face is one large previous removal scar. The left side has long, semi-abrupt, scaled retouch extending on to the distal end. The scraper is 54.9mm long, 43.9mm wide and 9.6mm thick. 23.18g.
