A complete lead spindle whorl of Medieval date (AD 1300-1550). The object is biconvex with an off centre sub-circular perforation and integral moulded decoration. The decorative pattern is composed of longitudinally radiating lines with multiple pellets between.
The metal is a dark cream in colour.
