Incomplete silver Medieval penny, Ruler unknown, dating AD 1327-1483. Very worn.
Obverse would have shown bust of king facing forward, the outline can still be seen in parts. Three pellets postioned in a row along the top of the coin would have been the foils decorating the crown. Reverse badly worn. Would have been a long cross design but only the upper arm can be seen, a few of the pellets that would have sat in each quadrant of the cross remain visible in the top right hand corner. Mint unknown.
The coin is 15mm diameter, 0.67 grams
