Roman copper alloy brooch of 'T' type, bow keeled with a rib, marked by transverse notches, running down its length. There is a triangular opening in the catch plate the edge of which is marked by two transverse notches. The wings, either side of the brooch's head, are cylindrical and marked by circumferencial grooves at each end. The pin is of the self-tensioned hinge type, only part of the pin survives. Length 47.5mm, Width 23.6mm, Mass 9.34g.
