An incomplete copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval date. It is as Meols type 11, missing the bar, pin and separate sheet roller due to old breaks. The frame is oval in form with expanded outer edge. This is oval in form, projecting from the frame at top and bottom, and with a large central constriction around which the now missing roller would have been positioned. The entire fragment measures 19.50mm in width, 8.98mm in length, 4.38mm in thickness, and 1.89g in weight. It is of Medieval date, c.14th century AD.
