A fragment probably of Roman coarseware, probably wheel-turned The exterior is hard, a grey-pink on the outer (convex) face and dull grey-pink on the inner face. The outer face has slight voids and grit inclusions. The fabric is partly reduced, dull grey, with voids, mica, grit and some pebble inclusions. Fractures are fine. It is dated to between c43 and c410 AD and is moderately abraded.

The length is 36 mm, width 25 mm, thickness 9 mm and the weight, 5.07 g.
