A medieval silver penny of Henry III (AD 1216 - 1272), Class 3a dating from AD 1248 - 1250. Mint of London and the moneyer is Nicole. The coin is bent and there is a crack running along one arm of the reverse cross between ON L and VND. See North Volume 1 (1994) page 226 number 986. The coin is 15.5mm diameter, 0.7mm thick and 1g.
