A complete Medieval copper-alloy pendant loop probably from a bar mount (c. 1250-c. 1400).
The pendent loop is convex at the front and flat at the rear. It is quadrilobate in plan and includes a short bar to accommodate a mount. The bar is sub-rectangular in cross-section.
This loop has a corroded and pitted green patina.
Length: 15.6mm; width: 14.2mm; thickness: 2.4mm. Weight: 0.94g.
A similar fitting from London has been published (Egan and Pritchard 1991: 219, fig. 138, ref: 1189).
