A piece of flint debitage of probable late Mesolithic to Neolithic date (c. 6000 - 3500 BC). The piece is struck off a tertiary flake and retains no cortex. The dorsal surface exhibits three parallel negative flake removal scars from previous blade removal. The flake exhibits a small lenticular striking platform. The ventral surface exhibits a low bulb of percussion and a bulbar scar, indicative of soft hammer working. There is no evidence of retouch. The flilnt is a mottled dark grey in colour with frequent lighter inclusions.
The flake measures 38.41mm in length, 27.69mm maximum width, 9.98mm minimum width, is 5.31mm thick and weighs 5.92g.
