An incomplete copper alloy bell of Post-Medieval date (AD 1550-1700). The object is a single cast piece shaped like a traditional bell, circular in plan with a flared base and sides which taper to a rounded crown with an upper, broken, circular suspension loop. Below the suspension loop is a circular perforation at both the left and right hand sides. The lower edge is composed of a double stepped moulded rim and flares outward at the base. Portions of the rim and suspension loop are missing due to old, abraded breaks.
The patina is pitted but difficult to assess as the surface has been heavily treated.
