A post-medieval silver coin; a groat of Elizabeth I (1558-1603), first issue dating from the period 1560 to 1561. Initial mark: cross crosslet. Mint of London. North (1991, 133) no. 1986.
The edge of the coin is damaged and part is missing. It is also bent. It is 21.6mm diameter, 0.55mm thick, and weighs 1.17g.
