A complete flint core of Mesolithic date, circa 10000BC- 4000BC. The core is cylindrical with two striking platforms for bipolar parallel striking to produce broad flakes.
The flint is a mid-grey colour with an iron coloured seam running through it. The implement is 45.3mm long, 34mm wide, 22.9mm thick and weighs 46.7g.
