A Medieval silver coin; a penny of Edward III (AD 1327 - 1377), Post Treaty Coinage (AD 1369 - 1377) issued under Archbishop Thorsby or Neville. Mint of York. The coin is 17.3mm diameter and 0.6mm thick. 0.99g. The coin is clipped and a small part if missing, perhaps broken, between 1o'clock and 4o'clock on the obverse. See North number 1295 in Volume II, page 59.
