A Medieval silver coin; a penny of Edward IV, 2nd reign (AD 1471 - 1483) issued under Archishop Thomas Rotherham and dating from AD 1480 -1483, Type XXI 4. Mint of York. The coin is 16mm diameter and 0.7mm thick. 0.69g. The coin is worn and clipped. See North number 1654 in Volume II, page 94.
