Flaked flint axehead, bifacially worked to produce a pointed oval section. Recortication makes it impossible to describe the flint. Some battering on edges and on cutting edge. While this object could be a 'preform' which was intended to be polished the less perscriptive term 'Flaked Axe' is prefered. Probably Neolithic. Length 119mm, Width 60mm, Thickness 31mm, Mass 261.0g
