Early Roman copper alloy colchester type bow brooch, 40mm long, 4mm wide and thick and weighing 5.16grams. The brooch consists of very short rectangular wings whhich are missing the spring. It has a semi-circular sectioned long, gently curving bow which tapers to a point and whose base houses the remains of an openwork catchplate.
