Roughout for the manufacture of an axe made from an opaque, blotchy, light grey flint with some recortication. The flint is of poor quality and contains faults. Both faces retain small areas of cortex. Bifacially flaked to produce a pointed oval section with some battering along the edges. Probably abandoned after the loss of a large flake from the cutting edge. Length 182mm, Width 64mm, Thickness 42mm, Mass 482.6g.
