A rimsherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Roman dating (2nd to 4th Centuries AD).
The sherd consists of a rimsherd, in a fabric is similar to that of Oxfordshire whiteware, consistent with 2nd to 4th Century AD dating. The rim type is that of a rounded everted type, probably consistent with a storage bowl or jar.
The sherd is 5.0 mm thick and weighs 17.2 g. It has a length of 32.4 mm and is 64.1 mm wide.
