A basesherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Roman dating (2nd to 4th Centuries AD).

The sherd consists of a basesherd, in a fabric is similar to that of a local (unsourced) greyware, consistent with 2nd to 4th Century AD dating. The base type is that of a flat base, probably from a storage jar.

The sherd is 6.5 mm thick and weighs 42.2 g. It has a length of 26.5 mm and is 64.9 mm wide.
