One half of a pair of possible shears or knife of uncertain date. The object is iron with a slightly curved blade and a rectangular-sectioned tang. The tang is in line with the upper edge of the object. The cutting edge measures 6.29mm thick while the tang is 3.44mm thick and 7.00mm wide. The object is heavily encrusted with iron corrosion obscuring any detail and therefore cannot be dated with certainty.
